The objective of the e-Commerce Advantage Program is to raise awareness and accelerate the up-take of e-Commerce among  small to medium sized enterprises.

What does e-Commerce mean to small to medium sized businesses?

Some of the questions asked are - How can my business benefit? Where would I start? Where is e-commerce going? Will it expand or decline? What tools do I need? Where will I get the right advice? How much will this cost? How do I identify what e-commerce opportunities I may have? How do I let people know that I'm doing business this way?

The e-Commerce Advantage Program will facilitate, guide and train businesses through this process and clarify all of these questions for each individual.

A hands on training component linked with current business experience is brought to the program by the presenters, trainers and facilitators of the e-Commerce Advantage Program.

The e-Commerce Advantage Program attracts funding from the Department   of State and Regional Development and delivers workshops to business groups and associations Victoria wide.

Individual company workshops are also conducted Victoria wide.

Everyone is talking e-Commerce, so what do business owners need to know?

What is meant by e-commerce? How  has it developed in Australia? Where is it currently? What are your business needs in relation to e-Commerce? What is the next step your business should take? What direction should you take? What is B2C, B2B, B2G?

Once you have an understanding of the elements of e-Commerce and the benefits they can deliver, it is simply a matter of applying those to your business.

It is not an all or nothing proposition, don’t feel as though you have to dive into the deep end of the e-Commerce pool.

With the use of specially edited video presentations, multimedia business case studies and numerous written activities that work towards an individual e-commerce business plan, combined with interactive round table discussions between business people with varying levels of e-commerce knowledge these workshops fulfill the requirements of all participants.
